After the huge success in the US of the recent re-release of The Lion King in 3D, Disney has announced that they are preparing to re-release more of their classics in 3D.
The Lion King was the highest grossing movie in September 2011 with $71.9 million and is still number 1 in the box office. Following this, Disney will re-release more 3D classics over the next 2 years including:
Beauty and the Beast – January 13, 2012
Finding Nemo – September 14, 2012
Monsters, Inc – January 18, 2013
The Little Mermaid – September 13, 2013
You can catch the Lion King in 3D in UK cinemas this weekend. I know a lot of us here at FloridaTix will be taking the family to see this heart-warming tale!
