When Harry Potter first visited Diagon Alley he had his trusted new friend Hagrid to show him around. With Diagon Alley soon to be opening at the Universal Orlando Resort, heres a sneak preview of the grand tour so you know what not to miss!
The Grand Tour of Diagon Alley:
1. Hogwarts Express
The greatest way to start your journey to Diagon Alley! Board the Hogwarts Express at Hogsmeade Station (located in Universals Islands of Adventure) and journey towards Londons Kings Cross Station (located in Universal Studios Florida). The journey will be filled with views of London and the British countryside – as well as a few surprises
2. Gringotts Bank
At the far end of Diagon Alley you will find Gringotts Bank, where you will see the goblins working hard as you walk through the grand marble lobby. A visit to Gingotts wouldnt be complete without visiting a Gringotts vault, and as you journey underground you will come across the ground-breaking new thrill ride Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts. This multi-sensory, multi-dimensional journey takes you on an incredible adventure as you navigate through the perils of the Gringotts vaults.
3. Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC
Every wizard needs a wand and Ollivanders, the wizarding worlds premier wand shop, is the place to go! You will be surrounded by towering walls of thousands of wand boxes full of wands waiting for their chosen wizard. Witness the magical experience of how a wand chooses a wizard, pick up your own unique Ollivanders wand or select one that is the same as your favorite wizard!
4. Knockturn Alley
Although this wasnt somewhere Harry Potter was fond, of Knockturn Alley was the place to be if you were into the dark arts. If you venture into the alley then you just have to visit one of its most infamous shops Borgin and Burkes. A shop that specialises in the dark arts and offers everything you would need to master them including Death Eater masks, skulls, and other sinister items.
5. Weasleys Wizard Wheezes
You cant miss Weasleys Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley, this colourful 3-storey shop will bring out the mischievous child within – whatever your age! Stock up on novelty items, magical jokes, and toys including Skiving Snack Boxes, Decoy Detonators, Extendable Ears and more!
6. Madam Malkins Robes for All Occasions
Always dreamed of being a pupil at Hogwarts? Then a trip to Madam Malkins will get you one step closer with a variety of wizardwear including Hogwarts school uniform, ties, scarves and jumpers as well as authentic wizards robes and character costumes.
7. Magical Menagerie
Every witch or wizard needs a pet, but what would you choose? Magical Menagerie features a collection of plush animals, such as owls and Hippogriffs. Will you pick a rat like Ron or a cat like Hermione?…..

If you are craving some homemade British fare, head to The Leaky Cauldron for traditional favourites like fish and chips, bangers and mash, cottage pie and more. Plus, a visit to one of the most popular pubs for witches and wizards wouldnt be complete without trying the famous Butterbeer.
12. Florean Fortescues Ice-Cream Parlour
After all the adventures and shopping in Diagon Alley, the perfect end to your trip is a visit to Florean Fortescues Ice-Cream Parlour. Enjoy a frozen treat in all kinds of weird and wonderful flavours such as strawberry-and-peanut-butter ice-cream.
